Mr.
Green oversees and advises management on exploration strategy,
policy and opportunities. Mr. Green joined Osyka in 2004 with
28 years of extensive petroleum, geotechnical, and new ventures
experience. His career has spanned successful projects ranging
from the onshore, OCS shelf, and deepwater GOM USA to both
onshore and offshore exploration in numerous counties on five
continents. He has a number of discoveries to his credit.
His work experience includes Amoco, Mobil, and British Petroleum
and he had a successful consultancy for many years with clients
such as Burlington Resources, Phillips and Samedan, to name
a few. He has been called upon to consult on projects ranging
from oil and gas exploration and production to delineation
of salt bodies for gas storage to high frequency delineation
of fractures.
His broad
and varied expertise has allowed him to manage projects as
diverse as area exploration, data rationalization, process
flow, and software design. He co-founded a company to design
and develop surface and downhole sources for the geotechnical
and environmental industries.
Mr. Green
is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, where
he is a former vice president, and the American Association
of Petroleum Geologists. He is a certified petroleum geophysicist
and a registered geoscientist in the State of Texas. He holds
a B.S. degree in geology from Memphis State University.
