Mr.
Taylor directs reservoir surveillance and coordinates field
engineering operations. Mr. Taylor joined Osyka in 2006 with
23 years of experience in the petroleum industry. He has extensive
experience working with technical and operational teams to
explore, develop and operate oil and gas fields. He has worked
East Texas, Gulf Coast, and Michigan Basin projects onshore
and both OCS Shelf and deepwater in the Gulf of Mexico. He
has added tremendous value to a number of older fields by
optimizing production and booking oil and gas reserves in
compliance with SEC guidelines.
He also
has experience in evaluating acquisitions, budgeting expenditures
and forecasting oil and gas production for financial performance
projections. His work experience includes Amoco Production
Company, El Paso Oil and Gas Company, and Dominion Exploration
and Production Company. He has stayed abreast of technological
changes by attending numerous company and industry sponsored
training programs.
Mr. Taylor
is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a certified
professional engineer registered in the State of Texas. He
holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Prairie
View A&M University where he graduated magna cum laude.
He also holds a MBA degree from the A.B. Freeman School of
Business at Tulane University and a Certificate of Management
in Energy from the J.H. Jones Graduate School of Management
at Rice University.
