Mr. Spiller is the Honorary Consul General to the Republic of Sierra Leone in Houston Texas.  Mr. Spiller was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Allied Energy, an International oil and gas company.  Mr. Spiller has served for the past three years as Principal Energy Advisor to Osyka Corporation.  Mr. Spiller’s career spans more than 30 years including Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of Frontera Resources Corporation, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Gas and Petroleum Technologies at the United States Department of Energy.  Mr. Spiller worked for Maxus Energy Corporation where he worked on oil and gas projects in most of the producing basins in the world. 

He started his career with Exxon USA working many of the producing basins in the United States and later with Elf Aquitaine Petroleum.  Mr. Spiller serves on the Board of the Natural Resources for the National Academy of Science.  He is a past president of the American Association of Black Geologist and Geophysicist.  He is actively involved in promoting Earth and Engineering Sciences at a variety of academic instructions.  He is a recipient of the Penn State University prestigious Alumni Fellows Award.  Mr. Spiller holds a Masters of Science Degree in Hydro-Geology from Penn State University and a Bachelors
