Mr. Enciso has experience as an
explorer in a wide range of domestic and international areas. His technical capabilities include mentoring, risk evaluation,
and managing multi-disciplinary teams. Mr. Enciso was recently
Vice President and Chief Geoscientist for Hydro Gulf of Mexico
and held similar executive positions at Spinnaker Exploration
and Ocean Energy. He was also Chief Geologist for Devon Energy
and Director of New Ventures for Seagull Energy. He served as a
Senior Associate for Rose and Associates and more recently as a
Geological Advisor and Regional Consultant for Shell E&P
Americas. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Geology and a Masters of Science Degree in Geology from the
University of Kansas. He was elected to the National Academy of
Sciences in 2009 to serve on the Methane Gas Committee for the
National Research Council and 2010 to the Committee on Earth
Resources for the Academy.
Mr. Enciso is past Chairman of
the Diversity Membership Sub-Committee of the American
Association of Petroleum Geologists and past member of the Board
of Advisors for the Energy Geological Institute (EGI). He
currently serves as Advisory Board Member for the University of
Kansas Geology Department.
